How to fix “Error: 0x80300001” when install Windows Server in KVM
เมื่อทำการติดตั้ง Windows Server 2008 R2 บน KVM แล้วเกิด error “windows is unable to the selected location. Error: 0x80300001” สาเหตุเป็นเพราะว่า installer ต้องการใช้งาน Windows Server DVD-ROM (CD-ROM) แต่ไม่พบหรือว่าไม่สามารถอ่านแผ่นได้
สำหรับสาเหตุส่วนใหญ่เมื่อทำการติดตั้ง Windows Server 2008 R2 บน KVM เกิดจากได้ทำการ attached virtio drivers image เข้าไปยัง VM และไม่ได้ reattach แผ่น Windows Server กลับเข้าไปยัง VM ใหม่อีกครั้ง
วิธีการแก้ไข error “windows is unable to the selected location. Error: 0x80300001” สามารถทำได้โดยการ reattach แผ่น Windows Server กลับเข้าไปอีกครั้ง ด้วยคำสั่ง
