ตอนนี้สามารถ Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 iPhone4 / iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, และ iPad ได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แล้ว

Jailbreak iPod touch 3.1.2 ด้วยโปรแกรม blackra1n

วิธีการ Jailbreak iPod touch firmware 3.1.2 ในขณะนี้สามารถทำได้ผ่าน Windows เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว โดยใช้โปรแกรม blackra1n ซึ่งสามารถ download ได้ที่ http://www.blackra1n.com/blackra1n.exe สำหรับขั้นตอนการ Jailbreak iPod touch fw. 3.1.2 นั้นสามารถทำได้ตามขั้นตอนดังนี้

1. Upgrade iPod touch ให้เป็น firmware 3.1.2 โดยใช้ itune
2. เชื่อมต่อสาย data link ระหว่าง iPod touch กับ Computer
3. เปิดโปรแกรม blackra1n ซึ่งโปรแกรมจะแสดงหน้าต่างดังรูป
4. จากนั้นให้คลิก make it ra1n โปรแกรมจะทำการติดตั้ง blackra1n และ Jailbreak
5. เมื่อ jailbreak เรียบร้อยแล้วจะแสดงหน้าต่าง เพื่อบอกว่าโปรแกรมสั่งให้ iPod touch reboot และทำการ jailbreak เรียบร้อยแล้ว
6. เมื่อ iPod touch reboot เรียบร้อยแล้ว หน้าหลักจะแสดง icon blackra1n ดังรูป
7. ให้กดที่ blackra1n เพื่อทำการ install cydia ซึ่งเมื่อกด เข้าไปแล้วจะแสดงหน้าตาดังรูป
8. จากนั้นเลือกที่ Cydia เพื่อทำการติดตั้ง โปรแกรม Cydia ขั้นตอนการติดตั้งแสดงได้ดังรูปข้างล่าง

เมื่อทำการติดตั้ง Cydia เรียบร้อยแล้วก็สามารถติดตั้งโปรแกรม AppSync 3.1 และ Installous ได้ โดย add source: http://cydia.hackulo.us/ เข้าไป ซึ่งวิธีการติดตั้งจะคล้ายกับ iPod touch 3.0
