How to fix error: 97: Address family not supported by protocol on Zimbra

เมื่อทำการ start zimbra service แล้วพบ error message ดังข้างล่าง

Starting nginx…nginx: [emerg] socket() [::]:7143 failed (97: Address family not supported by protocol) failed. Starting mta…Failed. postalias: fatal: bad string length 0 < 1: inet_protocols = postfix failed to start

ปัญหาการเกิด “97: Address family not supported by protocol” บน Zimbra Collaboration Server เกิดจากระบบ Zimbra (7.1.2) ได้มีการใช้งาน IPv6 แทนการใช้งาน IPv4 และเครื่อง server ไม่ได้เปิดใช้งาน IPv6 ดังนั้นจึงทำให้เกิด error ดังกล่าวขึ้น การแก้ไขปัญหา “97: Address family not supported by protocol” สามารถทำได้โดยรันคำสั่งด้านล่างนี้

• สำหรับการแก้ไขราย server

  [zimbra@EzyMailHosting ~]$ zmprov -l ms `zmhostname` zimbraIPMode ipv4

• สำหรับการแก้ไขระดับ global level

  [zimbra@EzyMailHosting ~]$ zmprov -l mcf zimbraIPMode ipv4

หลังจากรันคำสั่งด้านบนแล้วให้ทำการ restart zimbra service

[zimbra@EzyMailHosting ~]$ zmcontrol restart
