How to find delivery performance of Zimbra Mail Server

Fix and resolve problem You can check the performance of incoming and outgoing email on Zimbra mail by examining its delivery logs. This lets you analyze system performance and effectively identify which parts take particularly long. How to check Examine maillog (CentOS), mail.log (Ubuntu), or zimbra.log (both CentOS and Ubuntu). Look at delay and delays in delivery entries, as in this example: Oct 5 15:08:33 mail postfix/smtp[6252]: 0xxBFxx0A2: to=, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=3.4, delays=0.6/0.03/0.84/2, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 from MTA(smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as CxxC8xx78D) Where: delay is the time taken to deliver the message out of the system. delays = /a/b/c/d a is time before queue manager. b is time in queue manager. c is connection setup time including DNS, HELO and TLS. d is message transmission time. The program postfix-logwatch ( http://logreporters.sourceforge.net/faq.html#percentiles) analyzes this information to show the system’s Delivery Delays Percentiles, as in the example below:
