How to limit SCP bandwidth

Copy by scp The scp command copies files between machines. Copying between sites can saturate the link. To control bandwidth, use the -l parameter, in Kbit/s. For example, copy file.tar.gz to the home directory on s1.ezylinux.com, limiting bandwidth to 200 kb/s:

[root@Ezylinux ~]# scp -l 200 file.tar.gz s1.ezylinux.com:~
