HTC Flyer 7-inch Android tablet hands-on
I have an HTC Flyer now. I visited Fortune today, originally planning to buy an iPad 2, but none of the authorized shops had one in stock. Then I saw the HTC Flyer. After asking about it, I decided to buy it because I liked the pen and the appealing interface. It cost 21,500 baht, including the pen.
The HTC Flyer provides menus in both portrait and landscape orientations. Notice the green pen toggle in the lower-right corner. You have to tap it with the pen to turn pen input on or off.
The HTC Flyer’s specifications are not as powerful as the Galaxy Tab or Motorola Xoom, but for me a 1.5 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, and 32 GB total memory are more than enough. This model also includes 3G.
The box contains a charger, USB cable, pen, white leather case, and the HTC Flyer itself.
The top has a 3.5 mm jack and power button. There is a 5 MP camera on the back.
The USB port is on the bottom.
The upper-right edge has the volume buttons and microphone.
I will write about using it another day. Let me learn how to use it first. :)
